What Clients Are Saying

"My time with Susan was altogether satisfying, chiefly because she has the best listening skills I've ever encountered.  She takes avid notes, refers back to points I thought were mundane, but which end up making for interesting connections.  Susan has a genuine interest in her clients as people; she seeks to know them, and she's careful to respect their original positions before suggesting any different viewpoint.  I think of myself as a fairly emotionally intelligent person, but there were several times during our conversations that Susan's insight came as a true flash -- an out of the blue, unexpected breath of fresh air into my way of thinking.   The deftness with which she helped me to unpack my thoughts and feelings has given me a better way to think and feel going forward in my life -- my time talking with her gave me a new insight into relationships and family that I will take with me.  I am grateful to her for that, and grateful to her for her overall warmth and receptiveness.  Her small, soothing office was a welcome "safe place" for me each week, and I always left her office feeling as though we had made progress in the right direction."

I went to Susan for counseling when I was at a low point in my life dealing with depression and codependency issues. I randomly picked her off the internet and believe that God was leading me especially to her. I found Susan to be warm and caring. Her office always felt like a "safe place". She is truthful and insightful, and she did not let me slide by. Instead she held me accountable in examining my thoughts and behaviors. She encouraged me to see things in a whole new way. I learned new ways to cope with anxiety and depression, and with her guidance was able to define my future goals and see a light at the end of the tunnel. I now feel hopeful about the future and think that I will always be thankful that God led me to Susan and for my time with her in counseling.

My counseling sessions with Susan Morgan were invaluable to my recovery. The sessions were so helpful because I was able to talk with a third party who could look at my situation in a new light. Susan is a very good listener. I felt that she never judged me, and I was able to be comfortable and honest with her, and myself. Susan asked meaningful questions which encouraged me to explore options I had not considered before.

She suggested several techniques to help me address my fears and anxiety. I now practice these repeatedly which is helping me cope with daily stress. Implementing these approaches/options has allowed me to regain self confidence and to move forward with my life.

Staying ahead of my anxiety will always be a challenge for me. However, I am now more aware of the triggers that set it into action. I believe the tools I have gained through my sessions with Susan will help me throughout the rest of my life.
